About Me

I love trying out new products. My bank account doesn't always thank me for it, but from skin care to makeup to hair, I can't resist trying what's new. However, lately, I've been trying to step away from harsh and potentially dangerous chemicals — namely parabens, sulfates, petrolatum, ect. — and go more natural.

I want others to be able to read my reviews and determine whether or not they want to spend money on these products, so to be fair I will tell you a bit about me.

I'm twenty years old. I have very sensitive skin and must be careful with what I use, as anything has the potential of either breaking me out, causing redness, or giving my skin an itching and burning sensation. I've struggled with pretty much every type acne for at least eight years, and within the last two years my skin type seems to have developed into dry combination. Please keep all of this in mind when reading my reviews; what has helped me or disagreed with me may not result in the same for you.

As far as my hair type, I have thick, fine hair. This is a very interesting combination and makes my hair especially hard to work with. My scalp has always struggled with oiliness, and very few products won't leave my hair a limp, greasy mess. At the same time, I can struggle with a bit of frizziness. I've probably tried 50 different shampoos and conditioners and have only recently found some products that I really like.

In continuing with sensitivities, I am extremely sensitive to different scents. Bath and Body is a bit of a nightmare for me, strong-smelling lotions is immediately going to get a bad rap, and highly fragranced facial products probably won't work for me. If you are also sensitive to such things, you'll be happy to find that I mention the smell of something in just about every post, and if I don't, go ahead and ask! Again, remember, just because I don't like the smell doesn't mean you won't :)

Thanks for stopping by. Go find some goodies to try!
